Hong Kong Space Museum | "Journey of the Horse: A Legacy of Arts and Culture" Light Show
Description
Solely sponsored by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, another highlight of the "Hong Kong ICH Month 2026", The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: "Journey of the Horse: A Legacy of Arts and Culture" Light Show will feature a light projection onto the iconic dome façade of the Hong Kong Space Museum. Centred on the theme of horses, the show creates an immersive and memorable visual experience through a vibrant fusion of museum collections and exhibits under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, together with elements of astronomy and intangible cultural heritage.
Remarks:
Arrangements under inclement weather conditions:
I. Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above (including Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement)/"Extreme Conditions"
○ If the signal is issued or remains in force after 5pm, that evening's show will be cancelled.
○ If the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is cancelled or lowered to No. 3 or below, or the "Extreme Conditions" is cancelled before 10pm, the show will resume the next day.
○ If the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is cancelled or lowered to No. 3 or below, or the "Extreme Conditions" is cancelled after 10pm, the show will resume the day after tomorrow.
II. Black Rainstorm Warning Signal
○ If the signal is issued or remains in force after 5pm, that evening's show will be cancelled.
○ If the signal is cancelled or changed to Red Rainstorm Warning Signal or below before 5pm, that evening's show will resume.
III. Other Warning Signals
○ The show will proceed as scheduled. Depending on the on-site weather conditions or technical reasons, the show may be temporarily suspended or cancelled.
IV. Latest Arrangements
○ Please pay attention to the on-site organiser's announcements and follow staff instructions, and check the latest updates published on the website and social media platforms of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Office, and the social media platforms of the Hong Kong Space Museum.
